Maintenance Supervisor

An established manufacturing organization is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead its maintenance team and drive equipment reliability across its production facility.

This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the manufacturing floor, developing skilled tradespeople, solving complex maintenance challenges, and building a proactive maintenance culture. The ideal candidate is a strong critical thinker who takes initiative, communicates effectively, and isn't afraid to challenge the status quo when solving problems.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 7–8 maintenance technicians.
  • Balance preventative maintenance activities with reactive repairs and equipment breakdowns.
  • Assign daily work, establish priorities, and ensure maintenance tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement practical, long-term solutions.
  • Plan and execute maintenance and facility improvement projects with internal departments and external contractors.
  • Oversee facility maintenance in addition to production equipment maintenance.
  • Utilize computerized maintenance systems and other software to manage work orders and maintenance activities.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, engagement, safety, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold teams accountable.
  • Excellent critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Proven ability to prioritize work, coordinate multiple projects, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using maintenance software and other computer-based systems.
  • A proactive leader who takes initiative and enjoys driving improvements.

What We Offer

  • Monday–Friday schedule.
  • Competitive salary of $90,000–$115,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
