Compensation - $120,000 - $125,000/year

We're seeking a detail-oriented estimator who enjoys solving challenges, building relationships, and helping win exciting projects across the Pacific Northwest.

  • Competitive compensation package: $120,000 to $125,000 per year, plus bonus and profit-sharing opportunities (5-10% of salary)

  • WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects, including HVAC, piping, plumbing, and related systems.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, engineers, and project teams to develop competitive proposals.
  • Identify opportunities for value engineering while evaluating project risks, scope gaps, and cost impacts.
  • Support preconstruction activities and collaborate with Project Managers to ensure a seamless transition from bid award to project execution.


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 5-7 + years of estimating experience within mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, or MEP construction.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Experience with estimating software, including Quote Soft, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Procore, Microsoft Project, and other construction technology tools.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines.
