Accounts Payable Specialist

Manufacturing Industry | Corporate Headquarters
Salary: $60,000 – $70,000

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to join the corporate headquarters of a well-established manufacturing company with multiple operations across Canada.

This is an excellent opportunity to step into a stable, long-term role with a company that values teamwork, process, and reliability. The current AP team member is retiring after 12 years, and we are looking to bring someone on quickly to allow for a proper transition and training period before her departure in early July.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Processing high-volume accounts payable transactions 
• Matching invoices to purchase orders within the ERP system
• Processing EFTs and cheque payments
• Communicating with vendors and suppliers regarding invoices, payment status, and account inquiries
• Supporting AP functions for both the Edmonton operation and Corporate Head Office
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely processing

What We’re Looking For

• Previous Accounts Payable experience
• Experience working with an ERP system (Business Central experience is an asset, but any ERP background is transferable)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable communicating with vendors and suppliers primarily through email and phone
• Ability to manage priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
