Our client, a mining company in Nevada, is seeking an Environmental Manager to support compliance management, permit administration, and environmental reporting across its project portfolio. This is a hands-on role with direct visibility to leadership and the opportunity to help drive permitting and compliance strategy forward.
Competitive salary ($140,000 - $150,000 base + bonus)
Permanent full-time opportunity in the hard rock mining sector
Direct support to senior leadership with broad project exposure
Opportunity to work on permitting, compliance, and environmental strategy across multiple projects
Travel within Nevada as needed to support project objectives
Collaborative role with internal teams, consultants, regulators, and stakeholders
Chance to help shape environmental and permitting processes in a growing operation
Manage compliance and permitting activities across multiple projects
Track permit timelines, compliance registers, and key deliverables
Prepare environmental permit application materials and review related engineering documents
Support baseline work, quarterly water sampling, and ongoing compliance reporting
Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, regulators, and other stakeholders
Monitor regulatory updates and help keep project plans aligned with current requirements
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biology, engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in compliance and permitting in hard rock mining
Strong working knowledge of Nevada DEP and BLM processes
Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
Valid U.S. work authorization and a driver’s license
