Reliability Specialist – PM Optimization & Rationalization (Contract)

Our client, a leading mining organization in Saskatchewan, is seeking a Reliability Specialist to support their preventive maintenance and reliability programs. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on equipment performance, maintenance efficiency, and overall operational reliability. You’ll work on rationalizing and optimizing PM tasks, ensuring critical assets are protected and maintenance resources are used effectively.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Review existing reliability and preventive maintenance work orders in SAP, ensuring each is set up correctly

  • Rationalize PM programs by assessing asset criticality and recommending optimal frequencies

  • Optimize PM tasks by mapping them to failure modes, standardizing instructions, and validating with maintenance teams

  • Create new reliability work orders to ensure all equipment is captured and maintained effectively

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement approved PM changes and improvements


What You Bring to the Table:

  • Use your maintenance and reliability experience to improve preventive maintenance programs across the site

  • Your strong analytical skills and attention to detail will help identify opportunities for optimization

  • Apply your SAP and work order management knowledge to ensure tasks are triggered correctly and executed consistently

  • Facilitate workshops and communicate recommendations clearly to operations and maintenance teams

  • Bring proactive problem-solving and independent work ethic to drive reliability initiatives forward
