We’re seeking an Accounting Manager to join an award-winning architecture and interior design firm based in Vancouver, BC. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a globally recognized organization known for designing some of the world’s most innovative workplaces.

You’ll play a key role in managing core accounting functions while collaborating with both Canadian and U.S. finance teams in a dynamic and highly creative environment.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Manage bi-weekly payroll
• Oversee the month-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial schedules
• Prepare quarterly sales tax returns
• Coordinate with an external CPA firm for annual income tax filings
• Act as liaison with banks and government agencies when required
• Support general accounting functions and administrative tasks as needed
• Collaborate with Canadian and U.S. accounting teams on financial reporting and processes

What You Bring To The Table: 

• 5 or more years of experience in accounting (AEC or related industry preferred)
• USA accounting experience 
• University degree (accounting degree or business degree preferred)
• A working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while being cognizant of deliverables and deadlines
