Our client, an established global mining contractor with over 40 years of experience delivering end-to-end mining services is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead their underground mining project near Tucson, Arizona.
This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient, and profitable execution of an underground mining expansion project. You will act as the bridge between senior leadership and the site team, ensuring the project is delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
The project team currently includes 40+ personnel on site and growing, and you will play a critical role in leading the next phase of development as the operation expands with a new portal and additional scope.

What You’ll Be Doing
Lead the safe, profitable, and efficient execution of underground mining construction activities.
Provide overall leadership and strategic direction to the project team.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and scope of work.
Serve as the primary liaison between the client, project team, and senior leadership.
Identify project risks and ensure plans are in place to meet key milestones and deliverables.
Work closely with the Superintendent and field teams to maintain productivity and operational efficiency.
Oversee project reporting, cost tracking, schedule compliance, and client updates.
What We’re Looking For
10+ years of experience in mining or mine contracting in underground environments.
5+ years of project management experience on mining or construction projects.
Underground mining experience is required.
Degree or diploma in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
PMP certification (or working toward it) is considered an asset.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to balance hands-on operational understanding with strategic project management.
