Our client, a well-established environmental and water resources consulting firm, is seeking a senior hydrogeology professional to lead their mining services team in Nanaimo or Vancouver, British Columbia. This is an opportunity to drive technical excellence and business growth across Western Canada and internationally.
Compensation: Competitive base salary (175k minimum) with performance-based bonus
Work model: Hybrid or office-based (Nanaimo preferred; Vancouver considered)

Lead hydrogeology components of large, multidisciplinary mining projects covering the full mine lifecycle
Collaborate with senior experts in geotechnical, hydrology, and geochemistry disciplines to deliver integrated water management strategies
Manage multiple project managers and technical teams across BC in both operational and strategic project execution
Build and maintain client relationships, expanding the firm’s presence within the mining sector
Contribute to business development, proposal writing, and strategic planning to strengthen the consulting division’s reach
Mentor mid- and junior-level staff to develop technical and leadership capabilities
Degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, or Geological Engineering
Professional registration with EGBC
15+ years of experience in mining-related hydrogeology consulting
Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
