They’re currently hiring a Refrigeration Maintenance Supervisor to lead critical cold-storage and freezing systems in a fast-paced, union environment with strong pay and benefits. What's In It For You? 

Hourly wage is based on classification level: (UNION POSITION)

  • Bracket 15: $34.97/hr

  • Bracket 16: $36.57/hr

  • Bracket 17: $42.23/hr

  • Bracket 18: $43.78/hr

Role Summary

  • Supervise the operation, maintenance, and repair of industrial refrigeration systems supporting freezing and chilling operations

  • Ensure cold and chill rooms meet required temperature and quality standards

  • Lead and mentor Refrigeration Operating Engineers while promoting a strong safety culture

  • Support plant-wide goals for Safety, Food Safety, Quality, and Customer Satisfaction

  • Serve as a technical leader for complex refrigeration and freezing equipment


Required Training & Certifications (They will Certify In-House)

  • Lift Truck Certification

  • Respirator Training

  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Training

  • Industrial refrigeration experience (ammonia systems preferred)

  • Leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment


Key Responsibilities

  • Train, supervise, and work alongside Refrigeration Operating Engineers

  • Plan and execute preventative and corrective maintenance for refrigeration, boilers, and auxiliary systems

  • Monitor system performance and adjust valves and controls to maintain optimal operation

  • Coordinate work with management, contractors, and vendors

  • Maintain accurate operational, maintenance, and safety records


Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise refrigeration staff based on production demands

  • Assign, schedule, and prioritize work to meet operational needs

  • Train, onboard, and evaluate employee performance

  • Address employee concerns and resolve workplace issues

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
