The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, the Quality Assurance Auditor plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing the organization’s Quality Assurance (QA) and Safety Management System (SMS). This role combines hands-on auditing, regulatory engagement, and team leadership to ensure ongoing compliance with aviation standards and continuous improvement across operations.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with CARs, ISO 9001, and internal quality standards
Review, interpret, and apply applicable aviation regulations and industry standards
Audit work orders to confirm accuracy, completeness, and airworthiness
Communicate audit findings and manage corrective and preventive action plans
Develop, maintain, and improve QA and SMS policies, procedures, and manuals
Act as a point of contact with customers and regulatory authorities, including Transport Canada
Support SMS activities, including investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
Maintain documentation integrity, confidentiality, and quality best practices
What You Bring
Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical aviation role
Proven experience working within Quality Assurance and/or Safety Management Systems
Valid TC AME licence or equivalent QA/SMS training and audit experience
Strong working knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with leadership capability
