Are you an experienced Journeyperson Welder looking for your next big opportunity? Join our client on a large-scale project in North Vancouver, BC, where you’ll work alongside skilled trades in a well-supported, safety-focused environment. This is a long-term, full-time contract offering excellent wages, double-time overtime, LOA, and full travel support.
We are currently seeking skilled Welders to support ongoing construction work on a major Canadian project.
What You Will Receive:
$57.01/hour (January–February)
$59.29/hour starting March 1, 2026
Double-time pay for all overtime
Steady Monday–Friday schedule
Comprehensive Benefits after probation (medical, dental, vision, life insurance & more)
$9.15/hour employer-paid (health & pension)
LOA and Travel covered
What You’ll Do:
Perform FCAW and SMAW welding
Fabricate and assemble metal components for large-scale marine projects
Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues to meet project requirements and timelines
Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and project standards
Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects on time
What You Need:
Valid Journeyperson Welder certification
FCAW and SMAW tickets
Marine Annex weld testing (reimbursed upon successful start)
Ability to pass a pre-employment security clearance
