Overview:
Suki’s Salon is seeking a dynamic Retail Manager to own and elevate retail performance across five salon locations. This role blends strategy and execution across retail and merchandising, purchasing, inventory control, e-commerce, and training. The ideal candidate is organized, commercially minded, and comfortable working both behind the scenes and on the salon floor.

This is a high impact role responsible for driving retail growth, improving inventory efficiency, and ensuring a consistent, elevated retail experience across all locations.


Key Areas of Focus

Retail & Merchandising

  • Own the retail strategy across all locations to drive revenue and client experience.
  • Establish visual merchandising standards, product placement, and promotional rollouts.
  • Analyze sales performance and identify opportunities to increase sell-through.
Purchasing
  • Manage purchasing for all retail products across five locations.
  • Forecast demand and place orders to support salon and e-commerce needs.
  • Build strong relationships with brand partners and negotiate pricing, terms, and support.
Inventory Control
  • Oversee inventory systems, stock levels, counts, and transfers.
  • Improve inventory turnover while minimizing shrink and overstock.
  • Ensure consistent processes and accurate reporting across locations.

E-Commerce

  • Manage retail product assortment and availability for Suki’s e-commerce platform.
  • Ensure accurate listings, pricing, inventory sync, and promotions.
  • Monitor online sales performance and support digital launches.
Training
  • Train and coach stylists and front desk teams on product knowledge and retail conversations.
  • Support onboarding and ongoing retail education.
  • Create simple tools, incentives, and accountability to drive retail engagement.
 

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail management, ideally within a relevant industry.
  • Strong understanding of merchandising, purchasing, and inventory management.
  • Comfortable training and influencing teams.
