We’re seeking a motivated Manager in Training to join a growing industrial distribution business serving the mining, industrial, and fire protection sectors. This is a hands-on role designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in operations, sales, and leadership within a high-growth environment in Winnipeg, MB.


You’ll start by learning the operation from the inside out, including time in the warehouse and customer-facing roles. As you develop, you’ll take on greater responsibility across sales, customer relationships, and operations.

What You'll Do:

• Managing customer interactions by phone, email, and in person
• Processing orders and converting quotes into sales
• Supporting key accounts and prospecting new customers
• Coordinating large projects and tracking lead times
• Assisting with counter sales and customer service
• Supporting warehouse operations (picking, packing, shipping, receiving)
• Operating material-handling equipment, including forklift (as required)
• Resolving customer issues related to pricing, returns, and delivery
• Supporting outside sales and internal operations
• Learning and using the ERP system (M3 – no experience required)
• Contributing to sales targets and overall branch performance

What We’re Looking For:

• Post-secondary education (college or university)
• 1+ year of experience in customer service, inside sales, contracting, or an industrial environment is an asset
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Comfortable learning new systems and processes
• Ability to build relationships, identify customer needs, and close sales
