We are seeking a Mechanical and Hydraulic Assembly Technician to join our production team in Delta, BC. In this role, you will assemble and test mechanical and hydraulic systems that power high-performance industrial equipment, ensuring every build meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and reliability.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Read and interpret mechanical and hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.

  • Assemble and install mechanical and hydraulic components according to specifications and procedures.

  • Fit and test hydraulic hoses, fittings, and fluid power systems to ensure leak-free performance.

  • Perform precision measurements and alignments to ensure accurate assembly and quality control.

  • Use hand and power tools, jigs, and test equipment safely and effectively.

  • Conduct in-process inspections to verify quality and adherence to standards.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly or hydraulic system issues.

  • Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to suggest improvements to builds and designs.

  • Maintain accurate records of parts usage, assembly steps, and test results.

  • Follow all safety standards and shop protocols.


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanics or hydraulics is an asset.

  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical and hydraulic assembly, ideally in a manufacturing environment.

  • Skilled with hand and power tools, measurement instruments, and test equipment.

  • Working knowledge of hydraulic components (pumps, valves, cylinders, etc.).

  • Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics accurately.

  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or in a team.

  • A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning.
