About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Distribution Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations within a busy regional distribution center. In this role, you’ll oversee shipping, receiving, inventory flow, and team performance—ensuring products move efficiently, safely, and with exceptional accuracy. Oversee all distribution activities, including shipping, receiving, order processing, and freight coordination.
Support and enforce inventory control procedures in collaboration with corporate inventory teams.
Track and monitor operational metrics and KPIs, addressing issues and identifying improvement opportunities.
Communicate regularly with management to provide operational updates and implement strategic direction.
Work with customer service teams to resolve distribution-related issues quickly and professionally.
Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment; ensure adherence to safety standards.
Lead, train, coach, and motivate warehouse staff to promote a productive and positive culture.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and general facility oversight.
Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations, including team leadership.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Excellent organizational skills with a sharp eye for detail.
Clear and confident communication skills.
