Our client is a leading aerospace manufacturer where innovation meets precision. With a focus on lean principles, continuous improvement, and customer excellence, this plant delivers cutting-edge solutions for both military and commercial aerospace programs. We are seeking a dynamic HR Manager to lead HR and payroll operations while driving employee engagement and compliance at their Delta facility.


What You Will Do

As the HR Manager, you’ll lead the Human Resources function for the Delta site. Reporting to the Plant Director (with a dotted line to the Group HR Director), you will:

  • Partner with plant leadership as a trusted HR advisor

  • Manage labour relations in a unionized environment, including grievances and contract interpretation

  • Oversee payroll and benefits administration for 120+ employees

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for technical and operations roles

  • Ensure compliance with provincial labour legislation and company policies

  • Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives

  • Implement training, development, and performance management programs

  • Track HR KPIs, manage the HR budget, and lead continuous improvement projects

  • Coordinate social events and support a positive, team-oriented culture

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (CPHR designation or working towards) or equivalent experience

  • 5–7 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, aerospace, or a similar industrial environment

  • 2+ years of labour relations experience (ideally in a unionized setting)

  • Knowledge of BC Employment Standards Act and Labour Relations Code

  • Experience with payroll and HRIS systems (Payworks preferred)

  • A strong communicator, problem solver, and trusted people partner

  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • A self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset
