Our client, a growing civil engineering firm, is opening a new office just outside of Sacramento, CA and seeking a Group Manager to lead and grow their Civil Engineering practice across the Sacramento region. This is a high-impact leadership role with direct influence on business development, team growth, and project delivery.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Lead, manage, and grow the engineering division across multiple service areas.

  • Develop new business and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Oversee project proposals, scopes, and budgets.

  • Hire, train, and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team.

  • Manage workload distribution, project quality, and team performance.

  • Present projects to city councils, planning boards, and public agencies.

  • Represent the firm at networking events and business development meetings.

  • Promote a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

Who You Are
  • Bachelor's in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

  • 10+ years of experience in civil engineering and project management.

  • Registered Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in California.

  • Proven leadership and team management experience.

  • Strong background in municipal infrastructure/public works.

  • Skilled in business development and client engagement.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of proposal development a plus.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
