HR Generalist - Change Management
 

Our client, a globally recognized mining group, is looking for an HR Generalist with a strong background in change management to join their team on a 6-month contract. The HR Generalist – Change Management Focus plays a key role in supporting our people strategy, ensuring smooth HR operations while helping to lead and embed change across the organization. This role balances administrative and generalist duties with a strategic mindset around organizational development, culture, and employee experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to strategic exploration initiatives across Canada.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Lead and support organizational design initiatives, including scoping roles, workforce planning, and foundational capability development.

  • Engage with senior leaders to advise on workforce strategy, location strategy, and the impact of regional legislation.

  • Prepare and deliver clear, compelling presentations and reporting materials for executive audiences using PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Create and implement change strategies, including communication plans and rollouts 

  • Contribute to annual talent review processes and other cyclical people programs by offering strategic input and logistical support.

  • Operate as a trusted functional partner to the business, offering both strategic insight and hands-on administrative support where needed.
     

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role with a strong focus on change management 

  • Demonstrated experience supporting change management or organizational transformation.

  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and best practices.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
