Who You Are
A seasoned sales leader with 10+ years of experience in manufacturing and wholesale distribution of Building Materials or HVAC
Experienced in overseeing $30M+ in revenue or in a senior sales leadership/manufacturing leadership role
Strategic in your approach to managing complex sales cycles and national account relationships
Confident in leading regional sales teams across multiple territories
Strong communicator with the ability to influence internal teams and executive stakeholders
Data-driven and comfortable making decisions based on market trends and sales analytics
Highly collaborative with a track record of aligning sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams
Naturally curious, with a desire to stay current in HVAC trends, products, and competitive activity
Willing and able to travel across the U.S. as needed
What You Will Be Doing
As the Director of Manufacturing Sales – USA, you will lead our client’s U.S. sales strategy for their manufacturing division. Your focus will be on expanding national accounts, supporting distributor success, and aligning efforts with regional sales leaders to grow market share.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Leadership
Lead and coach Regional Sales Directors and manage U.S. sales performance
Meet or exceed national sales and gross margin goals
Identify and execute growth strategies for national accounts
Monitor sales trends, pipeline activity, and regional performance
Customer Engagement & Market Intelligence
Build and maintain strong relationships with key wholesale customers
Analyze market data to inform strategy and stay ahead of industry trends
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment on customer needs and satisfaction
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Marketing and Product Development on market positioning and launches
Provide insights to R&D and Technical Services on product feedback and opportunities
Partner with Credit and Finance on customer account management and policy compliance
Sales Operations & Planning
Develop and manage annual sales budgets and forecasts
Address slow-moving inventory with targeted campaigns
Support ongoing training and development for internal and external stakeholders
