We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Open-Pit Heavy Duty Mechanic (expression of interest) to join our team. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of open-pit mining equipment, including loaders, haul trucks, dozers, and graders.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure high standards of safety and efficiency are met.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• 3+ years of experience working on open-pit mining equipment.
• Red Seal or Alberta Journeyman certification in Heavy Duty Mechanic (Off-road).
• Extensive experience with loaders, haul trucks, dozers, graders, and other open-pit mining machinery.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair skills.
• A solid commitment to safety and quality work.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
