What You’ll Be Doing

• Plan and execute hydrogeological fieldwork, including drill supervision and instrumentation installation.
• Analyze aquifer testing data to develop innovative conceptual models.
• Address groundwater challenges such as inflows, dewatering, and remediation systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutions.
• Prepare clear and impactful reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Manage junior staff and ensure projects stay on track, on time, and within scope.

What You Bring to the Role

• Education: A degree in geology, civil/geological engineering, or physical geography, with a focus on hydrogeology or hydrology.
• Experience: At least 5 years in hydrogeology, ideally within the mining sector.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in groundwater modeling, aquifer testing, and installing deep groundwater instrumentation.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, combined with excellent teamwork abilities.
• Field Readiness: Ability to work independently on-site and travel as required (valid driver’s license needed).
• Professional Growth: Registered or eligible for professional registration, with a commitment to ongoing development.
