Our client, a leader in custom steel fabrication, design and installation services for material handling and processing systems has immediate openings for an experienced Drafter to join their team! This position is based in Sandy, Oregon and we are looking for individuals who want to learn and grow within this team!

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Use AutoCAD and SolidWorks to generate and modify mechanical drawings and detailing fabricated steel products that range from conveyor systems to staircases. 
• Produce drawings for the fab shop on what components/dimensions are needed.
• Consult with engineering and department personnel as needed to resolve problems.
• Office admin duties as needed.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• A minimum of 1 year experience in SOLIDWORKS & AutoCAD LT
• Experience and knowledge with MS Office suite. 
• Familiarity or experience drafting and detailing with materials such as stainless steel and various types of metals. 
• The ability to learn and willingness to see things through from start to finish.
