We are seeking a highly skilled Resource Geologist with over 8 years of experience in resource estimation and the credentials to serve as a Qualified Person (QP) under NI 43-101 standards. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Lead Resource Estimation: Direct mineral resource estimations and conduct due diligence on project reviews

  • Technical Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports in alignment with industry standards

  • Collaboration: Work alongside multi-disciplinary teams on global mining projects

  • Client Relations: Build and sustain relationships with key clients

  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior consultants

  • Regulatory Compliance: Serve as a Qualified Person for NI 43-101, JORC, and SAMREC reporting requirements 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Educational Background: Degree in geology or engineering with a minimum of 8 years in resource estimation

  • Professional Registration: Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Geologist (P.Geo) with strong geostatistical expertise

  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in resource estimation software and 3D geological modeling

  • Industry Experience: Background in exploration or operational geology with modern modeling tool experience

  • Advanced Techniques: Familiarity with conditional simulation techniques is an asset

  • Communication and Leadership: Exceptional communication skills with a mentorship-focused approach

  • Industry Network: Well-connected within the mining sector

  • Team Orientation: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams
