What you do:

• The Business Development Manager is tasked with driving Weldco's long-term success by acquiring new business and expanding the company’s market presence.
• The role is responsible for strategic new client relationship building, understanding market needs and effectively positioning Weldco's products and services to achieve business goals and objectives.
• A key responsibility is the ability to effectively articulate the benefits and technical specifications to potential clients.
• Identify, evaluate and actively pursue new business opportunities to drive expansion and growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
• Lead negotiations and close deals to secure new business.
• Develop tailored solutions that meet client needs through collaboration with cross- functional teams.
• Proactively manage multiple accounts and business development projects successfully.
• Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of business strategies.
• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
• Analyze sales data and performance metrics to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management to track progress and inform decision-making

Previous experience in B2B sales (ideally related to heavy industry) is required.
