Our client is a family owned business that manufactures quality residential and commercial roofing products. They are seeking a qualified Industrial Millwright to maximize plant performance and run time through troubleshooting and repair of all mechanical equipment. 

Our client has been serving their customers both locally and internationally since 1983. They are hosting their first Career Fair in Brampton, ON on August 6th, 2022 to support the local community. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a leader in their industry.

What you will be doing:

• Identifying and correcting all unsafe conditions and completing safety assessments of all work prior to starting any job
• Troubleshooting, monitoring, adjusting, maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment and machinery throughout the production facility and completing necessary work orders accurately and on time
• Diagnosing equipment operating issues and making required repairs
• Fabricating and welding tools or equipment when required

What you will need: 

• Millwright certification
• Proven experience working in and maintaining a safe work environment with intimate knowledge of LOTO procedures and other safe practices.
• Millwright skills, welding and machining experience preferred.
• Ability to properly disassemble, clean, repair and reassemble complex mechanical devices such as gearboxes, pumps and motors.
• Ability to fabricate simple parts for corrective maintenance.
• Must supply own hand tools appropriate to the equipment and environment.
