Electrical Maintenance Planner

Are you experienced in high voltage electrical maintenance? Looking to take your expertise to the next level? Our client is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Planner/Scheduler.



  • Coordinate maintenance requirements for Underground Electrical as well as Surface High Voltage areas and equipment.

  • Verify work order quality and plan Preventative and Corrective work orders. 

  • Perform job walk downs, risk evaluations, develop task sequencing, capture pertinent details, understand resource and material requirements, and build these details into the associated Work Orders.

  • Build and communicate accurate weekly work schedules reflecting all work management activities, ensuring that they are adequately resource levelled and aligned to the corresponding 12-week planning window. 

  • Work closely with the contractor to align maintenance and productive time to maximize construction while ensuring equipment is maintained per OEM requirements. 

  • Ensure Critical Control ownership with Material Risk responsibilities.

  • Confirm 3rd party contractors are aware and agree to their work commitments as scheduled. 





  • Electrical Journeyperson - Trade Certificate or Technical Diploma 

  • Experience in High Voltage 

  • Registered, or eligible to register, Qualified Electrical Worker – (QEW) Saskatchewan Certified 

  • Underground Electrical Experienced preferred 

  • Related Maintenance experience in a large industrial environment 

  • In-depth Planning and Scheduling experience using SAP 

  • High attention to detail, structured and organized demeanor, motivated, and high commitment to quality outcomes.

  • Self-reliant contributor with distinctive proficiency in the Maintenance / Work Management Planning area 

  • Demonstrated ability to learn and quickly comprehend new concepts and technologies 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders including functional managers and discipline leads on the project, clients, outside vendors and contractors.
