Our client, a leading Contract Manufacturer is seeking skilled Pressure Welders to join their team in Chilliwack, BC. This is a rare opportunity to join a team that is focus on safety and has a strong reputation in the market. They have projects that are lined up years in advance. 

As a Pressure Welder, you will be responsible for production welding of standard and custom products. Responsibilities will include the use of various hand tools, the fabrication of custom products from supplied drawings, fabrication of custom jigs and fixtures to produce production parts that meet customer specifications, as well as the fabrication of metal structures using jigs and fixtures in a high paced production environment.

What you will be doing:

• Welding according to pre-set parameters using TIG, MIG, and flux core welding processes
• Read and follow drawings and blueprints to set up, tack, and weld
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area
• Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records

What you will need:

• Minimum B Level Ticket or A Class Pressure Welding Certificate
• 3 to 5 years of experience on pipe welding would be an asset
• Thorough knowledge of welding practices and techniques
• Able to read blueprints/ drawings and following instructions
