TPD is an industry leader in connecting employers and employees! We are currently looking for a full-time permanent experienced Marketing Coordinator to join an innovative non-profit organization. 

Our client, the Work Wellness Institute, has the mission to create productive workplaces by turning research into practice. Since 1985 they have been providing individuals and organizations with the education and tools they need to develop safe, healthy and inclusive workplaces for all. Through public educational resources such as webinars, e-courses, and training programs, WWi leads evidence-informed change through collaborative work with partners across academia, industry, government and community.

Reporting to the Manager, Programs & Operations, the Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the management team to fulfill the mission, core values and strategic goals of the Work Wellness Institute by coordinating and executing marketing objectives in multiple areas including communications, public relations, and fund development. This position will participate in planning projects with management and external partners and be responsible for actively carrying out marketing-related tasks.

  • Coordinate and implement marketing campaigns for a wide variety of events and programs

  • Manage and strengthen the institute’s brand using organizational tools and channels

  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement experience

  • Excellent written communication and superior interpersonal skills

  • Create and coordinate press, interviews, advertisements, e-newsletters, and social media content

  • Manage and coordinate social media content and engagement

  • Create promotional materials independently (using WordPress, Microsoft Office, Photoshop, or equivalent programs)

  • Coordinate fundraising and sponsorship development

  • Analyze, organize and synthesize data to make informed marketing decisions and inform continuous improvement.


  • 2-5 years of experience in Marketing and Communications

  • A degree, diploma, or certificate in Marketing or Communications

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to be flexible, take initiative, and work independently
