The Sales Development Representative expands TPD’s growth in terms of overall revenue, profitability, and captured market share. The Sales Development Representative communicates pristine product knowledge, assists prospects in identifying major pain points, and aligns TPD as a company of choice.
This position is 100% remote.

What you will be doing.
Exercising both outbound and inbound sales tactics to identify prospects and nurture
them through the sales cycle. other internal sales personnel to warm leads through the sales cycle, leading to top-line sales.
Perform outbound sales tactics to garner interest in TPD product lines by utilizing sales intelligence and prospecting tools
Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales
Identify prospect pain points based on activity with inbound marketing strategies and craft a communication plan that leverages this information to present the best solutions
Handoff warm leads to Senior Managers by utilizing Web Conferencing, VoIP, and scheduling tools
Establish relationships with new customers that achieve assigned sales quotas and targets
Meet or exceed new customer booking targets by constantly building a healthy sales pipeline
Perform industry analysis to seek opportunities to generate new business leads by identifying company/prospect hiring needs
Maintain a high level of relevant industry knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects.
Entering and managing all Data (Companies, Contacts and Deals) into our CRM and managing/maintaining the accuracy of this information and how it correlates with our
Report on sales activity on a weekly basis in Sales Scorecard
Work with marketing to plan and execute lead generation campaigns
Strategize with sales management on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales, and improve company brand and reputation
Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace
Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity
What you bring to the table.
Experience in customer service and/or business development
Strong and professional communication skills - written and verbal
Ability to build relationships with prospects to identify pain points and overcome objections
Has a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables
Assertive and persistent: strong desire to compete and win
Working experience with CRM software, VOIP Phone systems, Google suite is considered an asset

Hiring for this position is contingent on TPD obtaining funding from Get Youth Working and/or Career Ready wage subsidies which have been created to generate youth hiring in technology-immersive positions. The grants have specific requirements of the successful candidate as follows:
Between 17 and 29 years old
Currently unemployed or Underemployed (employed below level of education or work part-time)
Resident of BC
Canadian citizens, permanent residents or persons granted refugee status in Canada
Enrolled in a University program and able to work full-time May - August (40 hours per week)
