The Digital Marketing Coordinator to do research and post on various social media platforms multiple times per day.
This position is 100% remote.

What you will be doing.
Duties and Responsibilities
Research the latest relevant HR and workforce-related and articles to support social media posts
Monitor key news and event platforms for opportunities to highlight in our company in social media campaigns and for trending news relevant to the online community or internal stakeholders
Create copy for social media posts relevant to compiled resources
Coordinate with the internal sales team and relay relevant research material
Provide support and assistance to other marketing team members as needed
Coordinate our digital marketing and design strategies
Create automation within our information technology system

Skills and Qualifications
● Experience writing copy and posting on Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin, including sharing, tagging and using hashtags
● Demonstrated understanding of best practices for social media
● Ability to coordinate and track a high volume of work through an end-to-end workflow
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Ability to manage time effectively
● Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
● Ability to work remotely, including a reliable high-speed internet connection
● Experience working with HubSpot or other social media scheduling tools is an asset

Contract Remote Position
Hiring for this position is contingent on TPD obtaining the Digital Skills for Youth (DS4Y) grant which have been created to generate youth hiring in technology-focused positions. The grants have specific requirements of the successful candidate as follows:
Post-secondary graduates – this is not a requirement for residents of the Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut applying for internships in those territories
Underemployed (employed below their level of education or work part-time)
Between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the internship
Canadian citizens, permanent residents or persons granted refugee status in Canada
Legally allowed to work according to the relevant provincial and Canadian legislation and regulations
Available to work up to six months
Previous participants of a DS4Y internship
University or college co-op or intern students
Employees of the hiring employer prior to the start of their internship (does not apply to previous coop students or student interns, although this must be clearly indicated by the employer)
