What will you do?
Active Daily Prospecting
Ongoing insurer relationship development/management
Presenting renewal and new business proposals
Collecting pertinent information from prospects relating to risk management
Actively Researching prospects while cultivating personal and business relationships with prospective clients
Work in tandem alongside an in-house brokering team with proven success in placing new accounts through assistance with creative proposals and a strategic approach to insurance markets
Creating, maintaining, and proactively updating an active prospect list in the Sales Management Platform
Maintaining active relationships with clients through quarterly visits, stewardship, reviews and the implementation of risk management protocols
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:
Please note, if you do not have the following, we require an openness to complete them
Technical knowledge of a variety of commercial insurance products
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A strong attention to detail
1-2 years commercial insurance marketing experience.
RIBO license is an asset
Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
Passion for the Client
Experience with EPIC would be an asset
CIP would be an asset as would underwriting experience.
